Description

Johnny Gruelle Raggedy Ann Stories and Friendly Fairies Illustrations Original Art Group of 3 (P. F. Volland, 1918-1919). The piece from Raggedy Ann's first published adventure is the one of the three kittens in hats. Created in graphite and watercolor on a 6.5" x 2.5" section of Bristol board. The other two are from Friendly Fairies. One is from the story "The Happy Rattle", and the other is from "The Fairy Ring". They are both ink and watercolor over graphite on Bristol board, with one measuring 7" x 2", and the other 7.5" x 9.75". All pieces are toned with pinholes in the corners. In Very Good condition.
