Snyder gets experimental with this trippy, atmospheric illustration of Eppy Thatcher, the fourth to take up the Grendel mask and the unhinged antihero of Matt Wagner's acclaimed Grendel: God and the Devil series. Through hazy textures and surreal visual details, Snyder vividly captures Eppy's drug-fueled hallucinations, immersing viewers in the chaotic, fever-dream reality that defined his descent into madness. Crafted in mixed media on thick cardboard with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Wrinkles and ripples on surface, but cardboard is solid. Signed and dated in the lower left of image area.
