Description
John K. Snyder III Doctor Mid-Nite #3 Splash Page 48 Painting Original Art (DC, 1999). A moon-lit statue-esque Doctor Mid-Nite releases his bird of prey "Charlie", named after the original Doctor Mid-Nite, into the night. This is the original art used for the last splash page for issue #3 of the 1999 series Doctor Mid-Nite. Produced in graphite, acrylic, and watercolor on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Includes the vellum overlay with inked-on text. The overlay has a 1.5" piece missing from the bottom edge, along with a 1.5" tear at the top and bottom. Signed in the lower right.
