Description

John K. Snyder III - Batman after Bob Kane Illustration Original Art (undated). Offered here is a reimagining of the iconic Batman image from Detective Comics #32, originally crafted by Bob Kane and reinterpreted by John K. Snyder III. While Snyder's illustration clearly pays homage to Kane, he infuses a distinctive touch, incorporating bolder colors and adding the moon to cast the Dark Detective in a shadowy silhouette. Rendered in mixed media on art paper with an edge-to-edge image area of 11" x 17". Light handling wear along the edges. Signed by Snyder inside the image area, with a note from Snyder on the back of the paper. In Excellent condition.
