Jeffrey R. Busch Magic: The Gathering "Untamed Wilds" Card Painting and Preliminary Illustration Original Art (Wizards of the Coast, c.1998). Get ready to gaze into unchartered lands with this painting for the card Untamed Wilds! This work was used for the classic mana ramp Sorcery card that was later reprinted in the "Portal Second Age" set. Card reads "Search your library for a plains, island, swamp, mountain, or forest card and put that land into play. Shuffle your library afterwards." Painting was created in mixed media on illustration board with an image area of 16.75" x 13", matted to 20" x 16", and adhered to foam core. Painting has minor scuffing/handling wear. Signed by Mr. Busch on the lower right corner. Also included: a pencil preliminary illustration of the art. Pencilwork was rendered in pure graphite on art paper with an image area of approximately 20" x 16", taped to a board approximately 21.25" x 19". Light handing wear. Illustration is titled and signed by artist in lower left margin. Overall, in Excellent condition.
