Jeffrey Catherine Jones - Batman Illustration Original Art (undated). Pioneer LGBTQ+ comic artist, originally known as Jeff Jones before transitioning into a woman and changing her name to Jeffrey Catherine Jones, was best known for her contributions to comics such as Flash Gordon, The Witching Hour, Wonder Woman, creating cover art of over 150 books in the late 1970's, and even a recurring strip titled "I'm Age" in Heavy Metal Magazine. Here we have a beautifully illustrated Batman piece by and artist whom Frank Frazetta reffered to as "the greatest living painter". Rendered in oil on approximately 16" x 16" stretch canvas. Some scuffing/surface wear, and color loss along edges. Signed by Jones in lower left area. In Very Good condition.
