Description

Jean Giraud (Moebius) Arzach Illustration Original Art (1977). A beautiful and very early rendition of lone hero Arzach riding his mighty Pteroid, emblematic of Moebius' pioneering and highly influential Arzach comic book series. Renowned filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki even stated that he was influenced by the Arzach universe in the creation of his classic film, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. A true Moebius gem, without a doubt! The art is masterfully rendered in ink and pastel on textured paper with an image area of 14" x 4.75". Signed and dated. Light handling wear, with some creasing outside the art area. Rare piece. In Excellent condition.
