Description

James O'Barr - The Crow Illustration Original Art (2000). Eric Draven brandishes a gun with his crow perched behind him in this lavish illustration of the tragic main character from the 1989 series by James O'Barr. The acclaimed four-issue series had a strong following, with Draven being featured in the 1994 The Crow movie, a tragic production in its own right when the actor who portrayed Draven, Brandon Lee, was killed during filming. With a new version of the movie nearing release, artwork featuring The Crow will once again be at the top of many collector's wishlists. Ink and Zipatone over graphite on thin Duo-Shade mounted to 13" x 16.75" Bristol board. Slight toning, tape along the edges, with rippling and handling wear. Signed by O'Barr at the bottom right and in Very Good condition.
