Description
James O'Barr - Gothik Unpublished Ad Illustration Original Art (1992). Blixa Danzig, a cyborg mercenary, is featured in this paneled ad illustration created for a planned six-issue series from Tundra Publishing. The cyberpunk story (also called "Chinese Bones") was never realized, but the character appeared in a couple of stories from Dark Horse and Black Ball Comics. Striking art from O'Barr's planned follow-up to The Crow was created in mixed media on 13.5" x 11.5" illustration board. Black tape panel borders and light handling wear. Image info and signed by O'Barr on the back. In Excellent condition.From the Denis Kitchen Collection.
