Look out, Batman Who Laughs -- this image of a spiked and spooky Caped Crusader from Crow creator James O'Barr pre-dates the twisted, "Dark Metal" character by a full 18 years! Perched alongside a ghoulish gargoyle, this edgier version of Batman features spiked bracelets, Nike knee pads, exposed stitching, and the one thing Batman is rarely shown brandishing -- a gun! Created using ink and graytone marker on illustration paper with an image area of 11.75" x 9", the piece has toned slightly and displays minor handling wear; otherwise, in Excellent condition.More information about James O'Barr.
