Description
Jack Davis Baltimore Orioles Baseball Illustration Original Art (Hot Shots, c. 1988-1992). Jack Davis produced a phenomenal amount of commercial illustration work over his long career, and for a multitude of products. In the late 1980s to early 1990s, he was commissioned to create T-shirt designs for essentially every American professional team (and many college teams) comprising the major sports. Here the Baltimore Oriole is wearing jersey #89. As they never had a #89 player, this is likely the year produced, and it was the year the Orioles finished ranked 2nd in the American League East.
