Description
Henry Raleigh - Magazine Illustration Original Art (c. 1920-30s). A wonderfully moody piece crafted in ink and black crayon! It appears to have been created as an illustration for a story in a magazine. Originally created on illustration board, it has since then been "skimmed" off of the top of the board. There are glue marks and abrasions around the 20" x 12.5" image area, and into the right hand side, partially covering the signature in the lower right. The corners of the piece have chipped and been folded. Toned and in Good condition.Henry Raleigh - Illustration Originale pour Magazine (c. 1920-30s). Une pièce remarquablement mystérieuse réalisée à l'encre et au crayon noir ! Elle semble avoir été créée comme illustration pour un article dans un magazine. Créée à l'origine sur du carton d'illustration, elle a depuis été "écrémée" du haut du carton. Il y a des marques de colle et des abrasions autour de la zone d'image de 50,8 x 31,7 cm et dans le côté droit, couvrant partiellement la signature en bas à droite. Les coins de la pièce sont coupés et ont été pliés. Jaunie et en Bonne condition.
