Harry Lucey Archie Annual #22 House Ad Illustration Original Art (Archie, 1970). The Archies rock-out while promoting Archie Annual #22 and a poster showing the band receiving a gold record for their hit song "Sugar, Sugar"! This advertisement ran in several Archie comics in summer of 1970, with runs in Archie and Me, Archie's Girls Betty and Veronica, Betty and Me, Jughead, Life with Archie, and Pep. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image size of 10" x 15". Toning, discolored issue and poster art paste-ups, tape on the poster paste-up, abrasions in the corners and missing bottom left corner, whiteout correction, with soiling/staining and handling wear.
