Guillaume Sorel Batman and the Joker Illustration Original Art (Editions Toth, 2012). The historical relationship between Batman and the Joker has been fraught with pain since they first met in 1940. Over the decades, these two characters have influenced each other to finally define their personalities. Sorel hit the nail on the head with this illustration, which is the most vibrant tribute to this legendary duo. The luminous atmosphere, the composition, the finesse of the line, everything works wonderfully. Kudos for this perfect representation of the Joker under the features of the late Heath Ledger. This illustration was published in the artbook Histoires Fantastiques by the Editions Toth in 2012. Ink, colored ink and watercolor on Bristol board with a surface of 24,25" x 18". Signed. Dated. La relation historique du couple formé par Batman et le Joker a été jalonnée de douleurs depuis leur première rencontre en 1940. Sorel à visé dans le mille avec cette illustration qui est le plus vibrant des hommages à ce duo de légende. L'ambiance lumineuse, la composition, la finesse du trait, tout fonctionne à merveille. Chapeau pour cette parfaite représentation du Joker sous les traits du regretté Heath Ledger. Cette illustration a été publiée dans l'artbook Histoires Fantastiques des Editions Toth en 2012.
