Description
Goseki Kojima - Daigoro Ogami from Lone Wolf and Cub Manga Illustration Original Art (c. 1990). Inseparable from his father, Daigoro Ogami is the cub in Lone Wolf and Cub. The widely acclaimed manga series follows Itto Ogami in his quest for revenge after his wife and family are assassinated. An inductee of the Eisner Award Hall Fame, Goseki Kojima collaborated with his art with the story written by Kazuo Koike to create the lauded manga Lone Wolf and Cub. This lovely illustration was crafted with ink and watercolor and presents a playful Daigoro with a turtle. The beautiful rendering of the character, measuring 7" x 6.5", is done on a shikishi board measuring 9.5' x 10.75", made of rice paper with a hardboard backing and ornamented with a golden edge. The board has some light crumpling on the corners and some minor wrinkling near the top right corner and near the right border.
