Description
Giorgio Comolo - Cosmic Doctor Doom Illustration Original Art (undated). This image is an homage to the Lee-Kirby story from Fantastic Four #60. Doctor Doom has stolen the Silver Surfer's Power Cosmic (back in issue #57) and is using it and the Surfer's flying Surfboard, against Ben and Johnny. This illustration appears to be an unfinished start to a full painting. It is produced in ink and ink wash over graphite on illustration paper that has been cut to approximately 12" x 12.5". The top right corner was heavily trimmed at that time also. A fantastic frame-worthy image, signed by Comolo in the lower right corner.
