Scarlet Witch sweeps into view with all the theatrical flair and elegance one could hope for in this lively illustration by George Pérez, an artist who knew the character especially well from his classic late-1970s Avengers run. Pérez helped define Wanda as one of the Avengers' most powerful and tragic figures, making this spirited image feel all the more fitting. Created in pen ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 12.75". Significant staining in the image area and lower left corner crease. In Good condition.A portion of the proceeds from this auction will benefit The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and the Hero Initiative.
