Description
George Herriman archy does his part Interior Illustration Original Art (Doubleday, 1935). Formatted the same as other pieces from this volume, this piece seems to be from Archy's poem "The Truth About the Insects". It may have been produced for the Evening Sun, but unused in this volume. The art, by famed creator of Krazy Kat George Herriman, was rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 5.75" x 8.25". Signed with an "H." in the lower left.
