Description
Garry Trudeau You're Never Too Old for Nuts and Berries "Writer's Pit" Illustration Original Art (Holt, Rinehart and Winston, 1976). This piece reportedly hung on the door of Mr. Trudeau's room where he worked on the development of Doonesbury: A Musical in 1983. It originally appeared in the 1976 book compilation, again prominently on his drawing board in the still life of his studio on the front cover of the treasury edition compilation The People's Doonesbury, and then appears again on page 69 of Doonesbury and the Art of Garry Trudeau by Brian Walker. The art is in ink over graphite with Zipatone shading film on a piece of thin Bristol board; the image are measures 4.5" x 4" Excellent condition. Prints of that art book page plus a blow-up of the art with the "Writer's Pit" caption, both on oversized photo paper, are also included.More information about Garry Trudeau.
