Description
Garry Trudeau - Mr. Butts from Doonesbury Illustration Original Art (c. 1990s). Mr. Butts appeared in the Doonesbury comic strip in the late 1980/early 1990s. He quickly became a popular character. So popular, in fact that he even appeared on a T-Shirt at one point. This artwork is almost identical for that used for that T-Shirt design. Created in ink and Zipatone on 8.5" x 11" white paper. Signed just under the image area. It is open front matted to 11" x 14". There is a minor abrasion in the upper right of the paper, and a bit of stain on the mat.
