Frederic Rodrigo Gruger as F.R. Gruger and Others Lot Illustrations Original Art Group of 4 (c. 1920s -1930s). Gruger, one of the more prolific magazine illustrators of his day, achieves a bracing realism in these illustrations. Created in graphite and charcoal on illustration board with image areas from 8" x 9.5" to 13.5" x 20". All board show heavy toning, with adhesive residue, spots of soiling and staining from water damage, tape remnants, and adhesive residue, chips and tears along the borders, paper lifts, and torn corners. In Good condition.
