Fred Hembeck Superman Annual #1 Cover Re-Interpretation Illustration Original Art (2006). Superman stands center stage, chain in hand, while Superbaby, Supergirl, Lois Lane, Lana Lang, Jimmy Olsen, Krypto, Perry White, Jor-El, and Lori the Mermaid form a full roll call around him. Everyone gets a panel, and no one misses their cue. Fred Hembeck puts a wacky spin on Curt Swan and Stan Kaye's 1960 cover. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15". Signed and dated by Hembeck in the lower margin. In Excellent condition.Auction Info
