    Description

Frank Miller Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - Carrie Kelley/Robin Character Design Illustration Original Art (DC, 1985). An incredible reference piece featuring a shadowy silhouette of Batman to give scale to the character design work for his new sidekick... the plucky Carrie Kelley as Robin. This initial concept piece was crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board. The art was trimmed from the board, and the 10.5" tall section was affixed to a 7.5" x 13" section of Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". The boards are toned, with some slight glue discoloration near the edges of the smaller section. In Very Good condition.
