Description
Frank Frazetta - "Devil Rider" Painted Preliminary Original Art (circa 1970). Outlaw bikers rule the road in this "born to be wild" color preliminary piece by fantasy maestro Frank Frazetta. The image area measures 7.25" x 8.25", and the piece is larger than many of Frazetta's other color prelims. The finished oil painting version of the design appeared as the cover to High Side by Max Erlich (Fawcett Books, 1970). In Testament: The Life and Art of Frank Frazetta, two other finished versions of this scene were printed on pages 70 and 71. This mixed-media masterwork has been tastefully matted, and is in Excellent condition.Auction Info
