Description
Fairy Tale Book - Small Illustrations Group (Samuel Lowe Company, c. 1940s-50s). Interesting group of artboards for classic fairytales Three Billy Goats Gruff and Cinderella. These are small illustrations, each approximately 2" x 2.25", with 12 panels for each story. All of the Billy Goats Gruff panels are on a single sheet of Bristol board measuring 9" x 11", while the Cinderella art is on three strips of four panels, with boards measuring 9" x 3.25" and 9" x 4.75. Art is in gouache/watercolor, with nicely detailed images. Condition is Good, with handling wear and light soiling along the outer edges, and old tape stains.More information about Children's Book Illustrator.
