Description
Don Simpson - Spider-Man Illustration Original Art (2003/2022). Spider-Man leaps into the air in this impressive illustration two decades in the making! While Don Simpson first penciled the piece in 2003, he didn't complete it until 2022, when he finally added the inks. Rendered in ink over graphite and blue pencil on 9" x 12" Bristol board. The piece presents with some smudging, a stain in the top left from the impression of a previous price written in pink ink, and corner creasing. Signed and dated twice. In Very Good condition.Auctioned on behalf of longtime comics professional, Larry Shell, whose artist friends have donated this and other pieces to assist him in this time of need.
