Don Newton - Captain Marvel Illustration Original Art (undated). Here is a special collector's item, a Don Newton Captain Marvel illustration on Bristol board with an image area of 5" X 10". Produced in ink over graphite with Zip-a-Tone and white ink overlay. Paste up is discolored but this does not detract from the appearance of the artwork. Signed by Newton in the bottom right margin. Included in the framed display is a complete set of 10 Fawcett pinbacks from 1946. Each 13/16" button bears the likeness of one of the many stars in the lineup of Fawcett comics, including the Marvel Family, Hoppy the Marvel Bunny, Bulletman, Ibis, and Nyoka, the Jungle Girl. Plexiglas front framed to 8.5" x 13". In Excellent condition.Auction Info
