Description
Don Martin MAD Super Special #14 "Unfinished Portrait of George Washington" Preliminary Original Art (EC, 1974). A preliminary version of one of the "Art Depreciation Paintings" from this issue's color pull-out insert. This is Don Martin's take on Gilbert Stuart's famous "The Unfinished Portrait" of George Washington. Ink and red marker over blue pencil on paper, hinge-attached to foam core board at the top edge (i.e. easily removable). Image area of 8.5" x 11". Excellent condition.Auction Info
