Description

David Mack - Captain America: The Winter Soldier Illustration Original Art (Marvel, 2014). Captain America: The Winter Soldier end credits storyboard artist David Mack renders a striking silhouetted portrait of Steve Rogers, flanked by soaring falcons, in the bold, Steranko-inspired style seen in the closing sequence of the espionage thriller that upended the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While this specific image was not included in the final end credits, we can neither confirm nor deny whether it was created during the storyboarding process. Either way, this dynamic portrait -- rendered in heavy black ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 18" -- is a unique find for any fan of the Star-Spangled Avenger! Minor smudging. Signed in white paint by Mack, and in Excellent condition.
