Description

    Dave Berg Gee-Whiz V3#23 July-1958 Illustration Original Art (Humorama, 1958). Dave Berg is most well-known for his work with the Usual Gang of Idiots at MAD Magazine. In the 1940's he worked in Will Eisner's studio on comic books for Quality Comics. Later that decade, he worked for Timely (Marvel) Comics. In 1957, he started working on MAD, and would contribute there until his death 45 years later. This gag, "After all lady, you did ask me if there was anything you could do for me", was reprinted in the July 1965 Fun House Comedy. Crafted in ink over graphite on 10" x 14" Bristol board. Signed "Davy Berg" in the lower right image area, it is in Excellent condition.
