Description

Dan DeCarlo Jest July 1956 Single Panel Gag Cartoon Illustration Original Art (Humorama, 1956). "Wow! She must have been hit by a severe downdraft!" A gust like that could turn modesty into a spectator sport. Dan DeCarlo delivers a breezy, Archie-esque gag with enough lift to be reprinted in the December 1963 issue of Laugh Riot, the May 1969 issue of Zip, and the August 1973 issue of Popular Jokes. Created in ink and wash over graphite on illustration board. Signed at the bottom of the 9.25" x 12" image area. Toning, with minor foxing, abrasions on the right edge, smudging, soiling, bumped corner, and minor edge/corner wear. In Very Good condition.
