Dale Keown - Hulk Tryout Illustration Original Art (Marvel, 1989). This is an incredible behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to get a job working for Marvel. This is Dale Keown's actual submission piece to editor Bobbie Chase that landed him the long run on Incredible Hulk where he made a name for himself! He would go on to create Pitt, published by Image Comics. This smashing illustration is ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15" with watercolors by Keown. It is signed twice by Keown on the bottom. Slight tanning, and some corner wear, but in Excellent condition.Auction Info
