Clark Ashton Smith - Two Heads Illustration Original Art (c. 1930s). Clark Ashton Smith was best known for his stories featured in Weird Tales, but the talented writer was also a poet and artist, creating mostly smaller drawings. Featured here is an example of his works -- two small male heads, one with a tonsure (haircut with bald top) and the other an older man. Crayon on art paper mounted to 7.5" x 5" board with an image area of 5" x 2.5". Toning, tears and missing piece on the bottom edge of the paper, with staining and handling wear. Signed by Smith in the bottom right corner. In Very Good condition.From the Howard Lowery Collection.
