Clark Ashton Smith - Two Creatures Illustration Original Art (c. 1930s). An eight-legged creature follows a four-legged creature... who else is getting the heebie-jeebies! A dark and almost whimsical drawing by artist/poet/writer Clark Ashton Smith, best known for his fantasy stories featured in Weird Tales. Rendered in purple ink/wash on art paper mounted to 4.5" x 3.75" board with an image area of 3" x 1.75". Toning and handling wear. Signed by Smith in the lower right image area. In Very Good condition.From the Howard Lowery Collection.
