Clark Ashton Smith - Prelate Illustration Original Art (c. 1930s). A sinister-looking religious figure rendered with a dark background by artist/poet/writer Clark Ashton Smith, best known for his fantasy stories featured in Weird Tales. Rendered in graphite on 5.5" x 4.75" art paper mounted to 8" x 6.25" board. Toning and light handling wear. Signed by Smith in the bottom right image area. In Very Good condition.
