    Description

Bruce Weber - Psychedelic Rock-Band Poster Design Original Art (1966). A fine example of Weber's drawing/collage technique, with an Underground Comix vibe. The featured bands are Phloebus Union, Soma, and Daze of Night -- influential presences on the Pacific Northwest's rock-band scene -- and the venue is Springer's Ballroom near Portland, OR, later the scene of a famous Grateful Dead show (1970). Ink over graphite on layered paper, with collage effects. Image area, 13" x 21.5" (matted to 19" x 27"). Light wrinkling and peeling in the photographic image (center). Very Good condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
