Brian Bolland - Lady Blackhawk San Diego Comic Con Illustration Original Art (1986). This spectacular pin-up was used for the 1986 San Diego Comic Con program, and shows Lady Blackhawk in her classic, memorable pose. Brian Bolland has won multiple Eisner Awards for his acclaimed Wonder Woman covers, and is well-regarded among collectors. Bolland scored a critical hit at DC with his art on the Camelot 3000 mini-series, and his earlier work on the "Judge Dredd" stories in 2000 A.D. Weekly had established him as a top talent in the field. Yet for most comic fans, he secured a place in the comic-book hall of fame with his work on the powerful Batman story "The Killing Joke." Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 6.5" x 11". There is a light bend horizontally across Lady Blackhawk's neck, with light smudges on the left corners; otherwise, the art is in Excellent Condition.More information about Brian Bolland.
