Bob Powell and Norman Saunders Batman Series 2 (Red Bat) #10 Trading Card Illustration Painting Original Art (Topps, 1966). The caped crusader is making a daring escape on a motorcycle off of a drawbridge in this fantastic original art gouache painting on 3.5" x 4.75" Bristol board. Bob Powell contributed the pencils for Norman Sanders' masterful paints. Saunders' comic career started when his submission to Captain Billy's Whiz Bang landed him work with Fawcett Comics. A long career of painting pulp covers eventually lead to Topps trading cards including Mars Attacks, and many more. This piece is in Excellent condition.
