Remember, all is fair in Love and War, and rank has it's privileges, but money will get you to the front lines quicker. What what a set of lines those are! A stunning slough-eyed babe is the obvious center piece of this highly detailed illustration by the masterful Bill Ward. It was originally printed sometime in the 1960s (by the "Timely Features" stamp on the reverse), and then reprinted in the July 1970 issue of Zip. Rendered in ink and Conte crayon with white paint highlights over graphite on 13.25" x 18.5" paper. This was then affixed to a 13.75" x 19.5" production board. Both are toned, and there is tape residue around the edges. Signed in the lower right. In Very Good condition.
