Description

Bill Ward Breezy #26 Single Panel Gag Cartoon Illustration Original Art (Humorama, 1958). "When I rented the room, I didn't expect to get into hot water so soon!" A classic Bill Ward gag, with a classic "Bill Ward Girl" in it. We love that platinum blonde bob cut! It's very unusual for his style of slinky women. This gag was later reprinted in the October 1965 issue of Laugh Digest. Rendered in black crayon and graphite with white paint highlights on 16.75" x 24" paper. Signed in the image area. The paper has been affixed to slightly larger Bristol production board with tape around the edges. Paper, backing, and tape have all discolored. There are a few very small rips in the edges of the paper. In Very Good condition.
