Description

Bill Elder (as Will Elder) "I'm Beginning to Worry" Illustration Original Art (1993) A slight change up from Alfred E. Neuman's casual motto of "What, Me Worry?" as here we see Neuman as "...Beginning to Worry." A fantastic illustration from the MAD-est artist of all time and Will Eisner Hall of Famer, Will (aka Bill) Elder, who is best known for co-creating and drawing Little Annie Fanny who starred in her own strip in Playboy for nearly three decades. A great addition for any MAD fan. On the reverse side there is an attached note that has been inscribed and signed by Elder as a peace offering to him and the motley crew at MAD. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with a matted image area of 6" x 10". Glass front framed with an overall size of 9" x 14". In Excellent condition. From the MAD Collection of Annie Gaines Ashton.
