Bernie Wrightson Bernie Wrightson Series 2 Card Art Illustration Original Art (FPG, 1994). Wrightson is best known for co-creating Swamp Thing and horror themed masterpieces, but he also excelled when it came to producing prehistoric scenes, like this pairing of a warrior babe taming a T-Rex! His Captain Sternn title for the animated for the Heavy Metal Movie and comics, also featured brilliant dinosaur action. Watercolor and ink on Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 12". Light edge and handling wear, slight rippling from the watercolor. Also included is the preliminary sketch in graphite.
