Description
Barry Kitson Marvel Apes Illustration Original Art (Marvel, 2008). The Watcher presents ape versions of Marvel's greatest heroes, including Spider-Man, the Avengers, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, even Forbush-Man! This might have been created for promotion of the anthropomorphic miniseries, and the background image of the Watcher was used for the first page recaps in Issues #2-4. Ink over graphite and printed blue line on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.25" x 15.75". Signed by Kitson in the bottom margin.
