Description
Arthur Adams - Psylocke Illustration Original Art (2020). Psylocke (Betsy Braddock) has become one of the most iconic members of the Uncanny X-Men since her debut with the team in the epic 1986 "Mutant Massacre" crossover event. Psylocke has had a wild journey with the team over the years, including a pair of body swaps from British beauty to fearsome ninja and back again, and has recently ascended to the role of Captain Britain. She shared a brief flirtation with teammate Lady Fantomex in Uncanny X-Force vol. 2 (2013), and as recently as July 2022, Psylocke entered into a romantic relationship with Rachel Summers, the daughter of Cyclops and Jean Grey from an alternate future; with the two sharing their first kiss in Knights of X #4 - marking one of only a handful of times a kiss has been shared between two female X-Men characters. Here we see a close-up of Psylocke in her ninja body surrounded by her signature purple power effects. Created in ink over blue pencil on 9" x 12" Bristol board. Signed and dated by Adams.
