Description
Alex Raymond Collier's Magazine 3-6-37 "Man With A Past" Illustration Original Art (Collier's, 1937). This wonderful piece combines great Alex Raymond action with a lovely Alex Raymond female! The piece was slightly cropped to form a full page spot illustration with text on the side and it accompanied Ernest Haycox's story "Man With A Past". Produced in ink and ink wash over graphite on 30" x 22" illustration board. The board is tanned, with pinholes around the margins, and production tape around the image itself for cropping purposes. It is signed and dated by Alex Raymond just under the stagecoach. Overall in Very Good condition. From the Al Williamson Collection.More information about Alex Raymond.
