The Sentinel of the Spaceways carves the cosmos in this evocative illustration by Maleev, catching celestial currents that feel as much like ocean swells as they do interstellar anomalies. There's a surreal, aquatic grace to the scene, where deep space looks almost like deep sea. Created in watercolor, color pencil, and white paint over graphite on watercolor board with an image area of 20.75" x 13.75", matted to 24" x 18". Slight waviness due to watercolors.
