Al Kilgore Screen Facts "Pic of the Past" Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. Illustration Original Art (Alan G. Barbour, c. 1960s). A wonderful caricature of dashing actor Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. in one of his most famous roles... The Thief of Bagdad (United Artists, 1924). Al Kilgore's love for old Hollywood, and movies in general, made him the perfect Art Director for Screen Facts fanzine. This piece was produced in ink over blue pencil on Duotone board, then trimmed and affixed to a larger Bristol board with added text paste-up elements to form an image area of 12" x 8.5". The artwork is coming un-stuck from the board, and much of the elements have toned. There is tape holding some in place. In Very Good condition.
