    Description

Herb Trimpe and Pablo Marcos Super-Villain Team-Up #7 Story Page 11 Original Art (Marvel Comics, 1976). The combination of Trimpe's rock-solid figure drawing and Marcos' evocative inking makes this sequence a delight -- enhanced by the presence of Namor, the Sub-Mariner. The story has to do with an upstart hero, the Shroud, who announces his plan to kill Marvel's kingpin bad guy, Dr. Doom. The page is a patchwork of separate panels, arrayed in two tiers for a conventional panel-page construction. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15". Moderate toning. Very Good condition. From the Ethan Roberts Estate Collection.
