Classic Archie artist Harry Lucey delivers fetching poses of Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge as the march to the beat of their own percussion, for this house advertisement, which ran in various Archie Comics titles during the mid 60s as a promotional pre-order form for the upcoming issue of Archie Giant Series Magazine: Betty and Veronica Special. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 12" x 17.75". Light toning, and smudging, production notes in margins; staple rust residue in top border, pinholes, and a stat discolored paste-up that is coming loose. In Very Good condition.
