    Description

    Harrison Henrich "The Northwest Indian" Painting (1925). Original one-of-a-kind panting of a Native American holding a crucifix. The painting was one by Harrison Henrich (1874-1944), signed and dated 1925 on the bottom right corner. Harrison was born in South Bend, Indiana, but settled in Los Angeles in 1908. His forte was desert landscapes and portraits, and he drew inspiration from the Northwest. He had a painting of Christ that was exhibited in several World's Fairs. This dramatic painting on canvas is framed to an overall dimension of 34" x 24". Painting is in original frame as displayed in Ghost Town. Minor handling, surface wear and frame scratches; Good condition.
